We’ve got you covered! One of our professional nannies can be hired to provide onsite supervision for children ages 3+ during our adults-only events. Because every parent deserves a night out.
How we began
It all started with Paint and Sip…
Paint and Sip with Shaa began in June 2023 in the most humble way possible, right in my home. What started as a simple gathering of friends to share my love for art, painting, and (of course) wine quickly became something much bigger. I’ve always believed that creativity should be fun and approachable, so I pre-sketch every canvas to give guests a confident starting point. After all, there’s nothing more intimidating than staring at a blank canvas!
The response was incredible, and before long, my cozy living room couldn’t hold us anymore. We moved first to a beautiful courtyard, and now to our current event space, complete with a sparkling pool that’s perfect for cooling off during Mérida’s summer heat. Over the months, I’ve watched guests — some of whom have been with me since the very beginning — grow in skill, confidence, and creativity. Every event brings out stunning works of art, joyful laughter, and a sense of community that keeps us all coming back for more.

We are happy to help!
Do I need any painting experience to attend?
Not at all! Every canvas is pre-sketched by me, so you’ll have a clear starting point. I guide you step-by-step, if needed, making it easy and fun for beginners and experienced painters alike.
What’s included in the ticket price?
Your ticket includes everything you need for the evening: a pre-sketched canvas, premium paints, brushes, a smock, dinner (meat or vegetarian), one glass of wine, unlimited soft drinks, great music, and access to the pool.
Can I bring my own drinks or snacks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted. We provide delicious meals, wine, soft drinks, and additional beverages for purchase so you can relax and enjoy the evening without bringing a thing.
Is there a dress code or anything I should bring?
Dress comfortably and in something you wouldn’t mind getting a little paint on — we provide protective smocks, but creativity can get messy! If you plan to swim, don’t forget your swimsuit, towel, and flip-flops.
What is your refund policy?
Due to the highly customized nature of our events — including individually pre-sketched canvases and pre-ordered meals — refunds are not permitted. However, if you can’t attend, you may transfer your ticket to another guest with prior notice.
